1.An old window frame: Get hold of that old window frame and your goto carpenter. Paint the frame, to get a lovely distressed look and get your carpenter to fix a base table for the same. Use this wonderful piece as a gorgeous coffee table, which can be opened to keep those magazines.

2. Transform that boring bed side table: Give that old side table a complete transformation with a color of your choice. Get happy prints of wall paper, use old fabric or even decoupage paper and paste it on the inside.

3. Hang that side table: Think twice before discarding that table top or old wooden plank. 4. Turn drawers into a table: Just get drawers attached and get your carpenter to give them legs. Paint them and use them efficiently as a table to keep those little somethings.

We are definitely going to try some of these and will even share pictures when we do. Till then, here’s a small DIY project done by one of our team person’s – up-cycled chair. Picked up for a bargain and refurbished for one too. She got her self a nice new chair for Rs. 1200 only!
